“Bombers are not as determined as we are” – Derry Mayor

The Mayor of Derry has condemned last night’s car bomb attack in Derry. The device went off close to the Da Vinci’s Hotel on the Culmore Road just after midnight.
There were no injuries, but property damage is believed to be substantial.
The area remains sealed off this morning, and disruption is being experienced in the city this morning as part of the Culmore Road remains sealed off.
The Mayor of Derry Cllr Colm Eastwood was at the scene when the device went off last night.
He says such actions run contrary to everything the people of Derry stand for………..
