Donegal’s Kevin Cassidy has reversed his decision to retire from inter-county football. The former All-Star called time on his nine-year inter-county career in the wake of Donegal’s heavy defeat to Armagh in the All-Ireland qualifiers last June, but following a recent meeting with new manager Jim McGuinness, he has had a change of heart.
“I hope to be back playing some time early in the New Year,” the former captain said.
