Donegal North East Fianna Fail Deputy Niall Blaney has pledged his full support to Taoiseach Brian Cowen.
Tanaiste Mary Coughlan has also pledged her full support for Mr Cowen.
It comes as pressure continues to grow within the party against Mr Cowens leadership.
Deputy Blaney said Mr Cowen has his full support and he hoped that he would lead Fianna Fail into the next General Election.
