An arrest warrant for a young woman facing charges of involvement in “creeper” burglaries” has been issued by Donegal District Court.
Karen McDonald, 25, who faces seven charges, didn’t answer bail given to her when she appeared last Saturday at a special sitting of Carrick-on-Shannon District Court.
Karen McDonald and two men were arrested last Friday in rented accommodation in Mountcharles, Co. Donegal, following a year-long Garda inquiry into “creeper” thefts.
The two men, who are in custody and due in Harristown District Court tomorrow, include McDonald’s boyfriend Edward Crerand.
McDonald, of Hawthorn Close, Ballybofey, is accused of seven counts of possession of stolen mobile phones, a jeep, a handbag, a child’s motorbike, a play station,a chainsaw and a baby-seat from a stolen vehicle at Magheranaul, Isle of Doagh, Clonmany, Co. Donegal, last May 26.
Commenting Judge Kevin Kilrane said: “She won’t be getting bail from me again.”
