All six fishermen who were on board a fishing vessel which went down off Malin Head this morning have been airlifted to safety, and are safely on shore.
The men were on board the Downings based crab boat “Amy Jane”, which began taking on water just before 10 o’clock this morning.
On the Shaun Doherty Show, Joe Joyce of the Lough Swilly Lifeboat outlined the sequence of events……….
The “Amy Jane” is owned by Downings company Mc Bride Fishing.
Spokesperson Hugh Mc Bride says the main thing is the crew members are safe……..
