Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh had told the Dail that the community focus of the Credit Union movement must be kept in mind when new legislation is being considered.
Deputy Mc Hugh was speaking during a debate on a number of amendments to the provisions for Credit Unions in the new Central Bank and Credit Institutions Bill which is currently at report stage in the Dail.
Speaking during the session which was chaired by Donegal North east Deputy Charlie Mc Conalogue, Deputy Mc Hugh said the credit union movement is in a healthy financial position, and its importance must be recognised…………
