Donegal Senator Brian O’Domhnaill has called for outstanding payments due under the Disadvantaged Areas Scheme to paid to farmers within the next fortnight.
The government is blaming mapping under a new system of payments to farmers for the delays.
There were also delays in processing the Agri-Environment Options Scheme this year.
