Gardai investigate Muff armed robbery

Gardai are appealing for witnesses following a weekend armed robbery at a service station in Muff.
The robbery occurred at 10pm on Sunday – two men entered the Texaco filling station at Muff, one is believed to have produced a firearm and demanded money.
The pair left the premises with an undisclosed sum of cash.
A grey Skoda Octavia taxi, which had earlier been hijacked, is understood to have been used as the getaway vehicle.
It is thought the robbers fled across the border.
Only last week gardai warned of special border patrols specifically targeting cross border robberies.
