Police appeal after teenage girl is assaulted in Derry

Detectives are appealing for information after a report of an alleged serious sexual assault in Derry in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, 1st November.
Shortly before 1am, it was reported that a teenage girl was sexually assaulted by an unknown male in the area of Edenmore Street and Northland Road.
The male is described as being dressed in black and wearing a scream mask with blood over the face.
Police would like to speak with anyone who saw anything suspicious in the Edenmore Street and Northland Road area.
They are particularly keen to speak to the female driver of a dark coloured car who gave the teenage girl a lift following the incident.
