Letterkenny Town Council is to see if funding can be found in next year’s budget to allow work to introduce traffic calming measures at Kirkstown Road.
Councillors agreed on Monday night that white lining and slow signs were needed for the busy road.
The road is used by a lot of drivers and pedestrians alike.
Cllr Ciaran Brogan, who raised the issue at Monday nights Town Council meeting, said hopefully funding will be available for these works:
