Woman’s body recovered from car which drove off Teelin Pier

A post mortem examination is to be carried out on the body of a woman recovered from the water off Teelin Pier this evening.
The woman was in a car which went into the water from the pier at around 2.30 this afternoon.
Gardai have confirmed that the woman’s body has been brought to Letterkenny General Hospital, and their investigations are continuing. However, we understand her death is not being treated as suspicious.
