Sinn Fein warns of real risk that Council budget will not be passed

Sinn Fein says it will not able to support the adoption of Donegal County Council’s revenue budget for 2012 unless the government commits extra cash to the county.
Councillors couldn’t agree the budget in December with Fianna Fail and Sinn Fein stating that they would be unable to support it for a number of reason, not least a major cut in funding for Donegal roads.
Councillor meet again on Tuesday and if they cannot agree the budget, the government may have to step in and decide how money is spent in the county.
