A National campaign to boycott the household charge is stepping up a gear today.
Those against the controversial 100-euro tax are meeting in Dublin later – to plan ways to encourage more people not to pay.
Socialist Party Councillor Ruth Coppinger says the aim of the campaign is to persuade people that they have nothing to fear by not paying the charge:
