The North’s Environment Minister says there are no immediate plans to dive at the site where it had been thought a submarine was submerged in Lough Foyle, but it may happen in the future.
A sonar image captured by a team from Mallow during a search in March suggested the possibility of a submerged submarine or shipwreck, but that’s now been ruled out following further sonar surveys.
