Renewed calls for Ambulance to be located in Buncrana

There are renewed calls for the HSE to locate an ambulance in Buncrana.
The calls followed a weekend incident in which a young man playing sport suffered a broken leg – it is claimed that it took over 40 minutes for an ambulance to arrive.
A rapid response unit was based in Buncrana for a time, but has since been withdrawn.
Councillor Joe Doherty is to raise the issue at this weeks meeting of Buncrana Town Council – he told the Shaun Doherty Show that a public protest may be required to pressure the HSE in to action:
