Ramsey appointed to executive of new North South Parliamentary Body

Foyle MLA Pat Ramsey has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the new North/South Inter-Parliamentary Association.
The body, which is intended to facilitate discussion and debate on matters of mutual serious interest between the Assembly and the Oireachtas, was formally announced by Ceann Comhairle Sean Barrett and Assembly Speaker Willie Hay last evening.
The Association will hold its first plenary meeting in Dublin on October 12.
