Derry’s Culture Night events to go ahead despite security alert

Bomb disposal experts in Derry continue to examine two suspect devices found close to the offices of Derry City Council.
One of the devices was found at the rear of the building with the other at the front.
Strand Road was closed for a time but has since re-opened to traffic.
Staff at Derry City Council offices on the Strand Road have been advised that they are not to turn up for work this morning.
