Gardai are mounting a high-visibility enforcement campaign on roads around the country this Bank Holiday weekend.
Learner drivers will be the main target of the operation.
There are over 260-thousand learner permit holders – who must always be accompanied by fully qualified drivers along with displaying their L plates.
