Car used in Speenogue robbery found at Burnfoot

As a cross border investigation continues into an armed robbery at Speenogue Post Office in Burt this morning, Gardai have confirmed this evening that a car used in the robbery was found earlier today.
The  Skoda taxi had earlier been hijacked in Derry.
It was found intact in the Burnfoot area at 1.10pm this afternoon, shortly after an appeal for information was broadcast on Highland Radio. It was found intact, and is currently being forensically examined.
