Council optimistic of matching last years NRA funding

A Donegal County Council delegation is today meeting with senior National Roads Authority figures in Dublin to discuss funding for the county’s roads network.
In 2012, an initial 21 and a half million euro was allocated to local and regional road improvements in Donegal by the National Roads Authority.
The bulk of the money went towards necessary improvements and restoration work agreed by the council.
Councillor Seamus O’Domhnaill is part of the delegation in Dublin – he”s hopeful that the County will get in and around the 20 million euro mark again:
