Protests expected as Donegal County Council holds budget meeting

Donegal Action Against Austerity is to picket outside the County House in Lifford today as Councillors meet to agree the Revenue Budget for 2013.
There are a number of controversial measures contained within the budget – amongst them an increase in rent for council house residents which Sinn Fein has already said it will oppose.
DAAA is calling on non-government party members to reject the budget completely if it is not seen as being good for Donegal.
