Justice Minister accused of ingoring Donegal burglary problem

A Donegal Deputy has accused the Minister for Justice of refusing to acknowledge the serious burglary problem in Donegal.
Speaking on Highland Radio , Alan Shatter said that Donegal was not a special case, despite a number of burglaries on older peoples homes in the past fortnight.
Fianna Fail TD Charlie McConalogue said that during the interview the Justice Minister exposed his total lack of understanding of the specific policing challenges facing Donegal.
And he said Minister Shatter had simply dismissed the fears of local homeowners:
