The people of Drumfries have been praised for their efforts in securing €385 thousand euro in funding for the building of a Community and Heritage centre in the area.
Inishowen Development Partnership has approved the funding under the Basic Services for the Economy and Rural Population measure of the Rural Development Programme
With a total cost on 585 thousand euro the balance has been raised by the local community.
