Crisis in the gardaí “growing by the day” – Deputy MacLochlain

Donegal Deputy Padraig MacLochlain has said it is now clear the the crisis in the gardaí is “growing by the day”.
The Sinn Fein Justice Spokesperson was responding to the vote of no confidence in the Minister for Justice, Alan Shatter by the Garda Representative Association (GRA).
The GRA passed a motion of no confidence in him yesterday.
In a statement last night, Minister Shatter said “spats” occur between Justice Ministers and Garda Representatives from time to time – and he has urged both sides to get on with their jobs.
