Limerick man pleads not guilty to murder

A 33-year-old Limerick man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Martin Purcell, over 18 months ago.
The 54-year-old was found dead in an apartment on Wickham Street in September 2011.
Gerard Manning with an address at Upper Gerald Griffin Street was arraigned this morning at the Central Criminal Court where a jury has been sworn in for his 2 week trial.
