Carnagarve campaigners say council has serious questions to answer

The Campaign for a Clean Estuary in Moville is calling on Donegal County Council to answer questions about the ownership of the sea bed, after publishing documents showing that the Crown Estates own the seabed of Lough Foyle.
Spokesperson Enda Craig says he’s been in touch with the Crown Estates office, which has confirmed that and the council has never briefed them on plans to run a 300 metre long pipe into that sea bed from a proposed treatment works at Carnagarve.
Enda Craig says answers are also needed about a Compulsory Purchase Order published by the council……..
