ECB leaves interest rates unchanged

The European Central Bank has left interest rates unchanged at 0.75 per cent.
Some observers had believed the ECB would be tempted to cut the rates in the aftermath of the financial crisis in Cyprus.
ECB Chief Mario Draghi is due to comment on the decision at a press conference within the next hour.
