Gardai do not suspect foul play in Buncrana fire death

A man has died following a fire in a flat in Buncrana.
The body of the man, believed to be in his mid to late forties was found in the Lower Main Street area this morning. It’s thought he may have died from the effects of smoke inhalation, but that won’t be confirmed until a post mortem has been carried out.
Gardai in Buncrana are investigating the cause of the blaze, but at this point, we understand they are not treating the incident as suspicious.
