The Fianna Fail Ard Fheis will hear Donegal motions calling for party members to be consulted more when it comes to the election of a party leader or if the party is considering entering a coalition.
The motions come from Claudia Kennedy from Bundoran, who is also seeking re-election to the party’s National Executive.
Ms Kennedy says the motions are designed to ensure that grass roots members of the party have more of a say in the party’s future, while ensuring they avoid the mistakes of the past:
