The President of the INTO will address members of the Donegal branch this afternoon as the union ballots on industrial action in the event of Croke Park 2 being imposed without agreement.
Brendan O’Sullivan will meet with members from the county at the Mill Park in Donegal Town this afternoon at 3.30.
Meetings are also taking place today in Letterkenny, Buncrana and Carndonagh, while on Thursday, meetings will take place in Ballybofey, Carrigart and Ramelton.
Brendan O’Sullivan says this is a reaction to the government’s seeming deterinatiion to cut teachers’ wages, and the union will not accept that.
He says if the government have alternative proposals, they will listen……
