The Irish Blood Transfusion Service is asking people to come to its clinics in Carndonagh today and tomorrow.
Low attendance at clinics in recent days is putting pressure on blood supplies and if that continues the service is warning that they could be under pressure in supplying hospitals with blood.
The clinics in Carndonagh run on Wednesday between 7pm and 9pm and on Thursday between 3pm and 5pm and 7pm and 9pm.
