Donegal Deputy Pearse Doherty has taken up the case of a Lifford woman whose campaign against her poor water supply has now hit the national headlines.
Siobhon O’Brien Kelly from Lifford told Highland Radio News at the start of this week how her water supply would run a deep orange colour at least once a month.
Since then dozens of residents on the same water supply have contacted the station saying they are in the same situation.
The story has now been picked up by the media nationally with Deputy Pearse Doherty committing to raise the issue with the Environment Minister directly:
