The Minister for State Alan Kelly has today launched a new 200km Cycle Route in Donegal.
The route starts from Donegal Town and runs through towns and villages towards Burtonport, Milford on to Letterkenny and finishes in Newtowncunningham.
Donegal County Council has developed the route with funding of almost half a million euro from the Department of Transport.
Donegal County manager Seamus Neely says the new route will help Donegal capitalise on the estimated 180 thousand overseas visitors who came to Ireland to engage in cycling:
