Derry based American woman on explosives charges gets bail in Belfast

An American woman who was arrested and charged with dissident republican activity along with her husband in Derry, has been granted bail at the High Court in Belfast
32-year-old American woman Lesley Concannon, a mother-of-one and dance teacher, faces charges of possessing explosives with intent to endanger life, and having articles for use in terrorism.
She was arrested and charged along with her 39-year-old husband Kevin Barry Concannon following police raids on their home at Beechwood Avenue last week.
In a search of their home, Police seized a deactivated sub-machine gun, explosives and details of how to make bombs, along with photographs of a policer station on Merseyside.
Mr Justice Stephens granted bail on condition that £25,000 in cash sureties are lodged, and ordered that Mrs Concannon surrender her passport and that of her daughter.
He banned her from leaving Northern Ireland, ordered that she report to police daily, and banned her from using computers or mobile phones.
