Gardai are investigating a burglary at the home of two elderly sisters in Raphoe during which one was knocked to the ground and hospitalised.
At around 5 o’clock yesterday (Monday) evening 3 males called to the home of the sisters at Freddyglass who are aged in their 80’s and 90’s.
They entered the premises knocking one of the sisters two the ground – she was taken to hospital by ambulance to be treated for shock.
Gardai believe the men were driving an NI or English registered silver Ford Focus which had been seen acting suspiciously in the area earlier in the day.
