A Councillor has described the aggravated burglary on the home of two elderly sisters near Raphoe as a cowardly and despicable act.
3 men targeted the home of the sisters, aged in their 80s and 90s, at around 5 o’clock on Monday evening in the Feddyglass area.
During the incident one of the sisters was knocked to the ground – she was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital for treatment.
Gardai are seeking information on a UK registered silver Ford Focus seen acting suspiciously in the area.
