Strabane District officials have met in recent days to consider the possibility of a new leisure centre for the town.
The talks are the first phase of a consultation that could see leisure facilities moved from Riversdale to a new location elsewhere in the town.
There has been a dramatic rise in the number of people using Riversdale over the past five years, something that has led to further concerns over parking provision.
