Four more players have put pen to paper for Finn Harps for the 2014 season as new Manager Ollie Horgan continues to build his squad for the new First Division campaign.  Damien McNulty, Sean McCarron, Mark Forker and Tommy Bonner are the latest members of last year’s squad to have signed again for the club.
For McNulty and McCarron it will be their second seasons at the club.  McNulty made his debut in the 4-1 League Cup victory over the Mayo League in the opening game of the 2013 season and went on to make a further eighteen appearances for the club during the season.
Sean McCarron had to wait a bit longer for his debut, but it was one he will remember as he came off the bench to score a late equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Waterford United at the RSC in the opening league game of the season.  McCarron scored a total of ten goals during 2013 in the 21 games he played for the club.
Mark Forker will be a member of the Harps squad for the fifth season in 2014.  Forker, who has scored four goals for the club, made his debut in 2009 against Kildare County at Station Road and became the 60th player to play 100 games for the club in the final game of last season in a scoreless draw at Salthill Devon.
Tommy Bonner, like Forker, is another player with huge experience with Harps and is just two games short of reaching 100 competitive appearances for the club.  Bonner made his debut for Harps way back in 2005 under Felix Healy and made six appearances for the club that season.  However, it wasn’t until 2010 that he made his next appearances for the club and has been a constant figure in the Harps squad for the last four seasons.
The signings bring to eight the number of players currently signed for the new season.  Along with the four players above, agreements had already been in place with Kevin McHugh, Michael Funston, Ciaran Coll and James Doherty.
