Latest Tax Defaulters list shows almost 500 thousand Euro in Donegal settlements

The latest Tax Defaulters list published by the Revenue Commissioners shows six settlements from Donegal, totalling just under half a million euro.
Nationally, the Revenue Commissioners collected over 27 million euro in settlements between July and September from 88 people.
In the largest of six settlements reached in Donegal, courier Aidan Caddye of Massreagh, Kilmacrennan paid almost 178,000 euro in tax, interest and penalties.
Builder Anthony Mc Guinness of Rossknowlagh paid almost 96,000 euro, while Collection Agent Declan Shiels of Windyhall, Letterkenny paid almost 81,000 euro.
Septic Tank manufacturers Big Bubble of Drumany, Letterkenny paid almost 61,000 euro.
Two other Donegal businesses paid a total of just under 87,000 euro.
Meanwhile, there was one settlement from County Derry, with Magherafelt builder Bernard Keown paying just over 69,000 euro.
