TD says there may be need for an independent NAMA inquiry

An Independent TD says there may be a need for an independent inquiry into NAMA.
It follows claims that a former employee at the National Asset Management Agency leaked classified information to international financiers.
The Irish Independent says the official has admitted leaking the information and a dossier is with the Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan and the Garda Fraud Squad.
Independent TD Stephen Donnelly says we need to be sure NAMA is not leaking anything in an improper way.
“There are emerging allegations, they’re very serious allegations – I hope that none of them are true” he said.
“But NAMA must be above reproach, and therefore it may be necessary to have an independent inquiry to investigate these issues” he added.
