Mc Conalogue hits out at government refusal to extend books scheme

Deputy Charlie Mc Conolouge has been told that the Department of Education will not change the rules that exclude schools who started book rental schemes from availing of a new government scheme.
Deputy McConologue told Highland Radio News last week that schools who started book rental schemes themselves are now being punished by the Government for taking the initiative in doing so.
But speaking in the Dail on behalf of the Eduction Minister, Junior Minister Michael Ring explained why the system will not be changed:
