Gardai investigate bank robbery in Castleblaney

Gardaí are appealing for a witnesses to a bank robbery in Co. Monaghan.
Over 100,000 euro was stolen from Ulster Bank in Castleblaney yesterday evening – when two men rammed a white van into the front of the building.
They snatched a box containing cash which was being loaded into the bank’s ATM machine at the time.
The thieves drove off with the money in the direction of Carrickmacross in a white van, it’s believed they may have crossed the border.
Nobody was injured in the incident.
