Fisherman rescued off rocks in Malin Head

A fisherman has been rescued off rocks in Malin Head after he became stranded this afternoon.
The man, originally from Latvia, got into trouble when the tide began to come in.
Malin Head Coastguard were alerted and the Greencastle lifeboat and Sligo coastguard helicopter were deployed.
The man is currently being checked out by medical staff onshore.
