A Letterkenny Town Councillor wants the public to be consulted to find names for generically named areas around the town.
Councillor Dessie Larkin says there are places referred locally as ‘The Green’ or ‘The Lane’ and that these places could be given a new name or have a name from the past restored.
He believes it would be a worthwile project:
