O’Connor to start in Donegal Tyrone cup clash

Highland-Radio-SportDonegal and Tyrone have named their starting line ups for this Sunday’s opening Dr Mc Kenna Cup clash in Letterkenny.
Buncrana’s Darach O’Connor will make his senior competitive inter county debut  for Donegal having been named in the full forward line. The captain of last years minor team will join Colm Mc Fadden and Captain Michael Murphy in the front three.
Gweedore’s Odhran Mc Neilis partners Rory Kavanagh in midfield while Glenswilly’s Gary Mc Fadden and Glenties  Dermot Molloy are included in the half forward line with Martin O’Reilly.
Paul Durcan is in goals with Frank Mc Glynn, Eamon Mc Gee and Eamon Doherty lining out in front of him.
Anthony Thompson, Leo Mc Loone and Declan Walsh make up the half back line.
Eight of the 2012 All Ireland starting team will line out on for the throw in on Sunday.
Meanwhile Conan Grugan, Shay McGuigan and Emmett McKenna will all make their senior inter-county debuts under Mickey Harte at the O’Donnell Park.
Grugan starts in midfield along side Plunkett Kane while McGuigan and Mc Kenna start in the half forward line. Niall Morgan returns to take his place in goals. Conor Clarke, Ronan O’Neill and Mattie Donnelly have also be named in the 15.
On Saturday’s GAA Preview Tom Comack will be speaking with both managers and on Sunday from 1.50pm join Oisin Kelly and Martin Mc Hugh for full match commentary.
