Budget meeting adjourned following death of former councillor

Todays reconvened Donegal County Council Budget meeting for 2014 has been adjourned as a mark of respect to former Cllr John Kelly who passed away this morning.
John Kelly, was elected as Fianna Fail’s first councillor from Falcarragh in 1953, serving twice as chairperson.
The meeting today will now begin at 2pm.
Cllrs today also expressed their sympathies to the Brogan sisters who tragically died in a house fire over Christmas, and to Maura Porter who was killed in a car accident in Carndonagh over the Christmas.
