Tyrone beat Donegal in McKenna opener

The opening year Dr. Kenna cup derby fixture between Donegal and Tyrone ended in a three point win for the O’Neill County at the O’Donnell in Letterkeny on Sunday.
Tyrone were deserving winners 0-13 to 1-7 after dominating the second half and out scoring Donegal 8 points to 2.
Donegal lead 1-5 to 0-5 at the break after Michael Murphy put the ball in the net, making up for his earlier penalty miss which Niall Morgan saved.
St.Eunans Rory Kavanagh became the first Donegal player to be black carded for his challange on Tiernan Mc Cann.
