Derry charity Foyle Search and Rescue has been denied funding for a counselling base.
Foyle Search and Rescue had applied for funding to create a counselling facility for people found in distress around the River Foyle.
The charity has expressed disappointment at failing to secure the 220,000 needed for the project.
The groups Chairman Craig Smith says the was an increase in the charities work last year, so funding is essential:
