Donegal Relay for Life 2014 has been formally launched, with a focus on the fact that 1,000 people a year are now diagnosed with cancer in Donegal.
Under the banner “A Thousand Reasons to Relay”, the Irish Cancer Society and the local organising committee are urging teams to come together and register for the event on May 31st and June 1st in the grounds of Letterkenny Institute of Technology.
Irish Cancer Society CEO John Mc Cormack says since its inception, the Donegal Relay has been the biggest in the world outside the US, and that’s brought benefits to the county………….
