Early Childhood Ireland has published its pre-Budget submission ahead of Budget 2027.
The organisation is calling for measures to help attract and retain staff in the early years sector.
It says data from Pobal shows that up to 1,580 children under the age of three in Donegal are currently on waiting lists for a crèche place due to staffing challenges.
